AAUP Negotiations Update for July 23, 2018

The ninth negotiation session for a new Unit 1 contract took place Monday, July 23, and lasted about 5 hours.

The teams reached tentative agreements on changes to a few more contract articles, and had productive discussion of additional economic and non-economic contract provisions.

Faculty Chief Negotiator Pam Ecker said, “We got a lot done today, but several important portions of the contract remain unresolved. We’re looking forward to additional conversation with the Administration’s team later this week.”

The team greatly appreciated today’s “working lunch” provided by Nancy Wright, Susan Herking, and Peggy Rolfsen. Thank you to all of our colleagues for your continuing contributions to team sustenance!

The next bargaining session is scheduled for Wednesday, July 25.
