AAUP Negotiations Update for July 18, 2018

The eighth negotiation session for a new Unit 1 contract took place Wednesday, July 18, and lasted about 2 hours.

Faculty Team members said the session included discussion of the contract provisions dealing with governance, tenure, and the work of Annually Contracted Faculty, as well as some other topics.

“Today’s discussion helped the teams improve our understanding of each other’s concerns related to some key contract provisions,” said Faculty Chief Negotiator Pam Ecker.

Four bargaining sessions are scheduled for next week, on Monday (July 23), as well as Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (July 25, 26, and 27).
